Job Title - Quality Technician

Salary – £30K

Location – Stockton-on-Tees

Responsibilities of a Quality Technician:

  • Monitoring and compiling weekly inspection utilisation reports
  • Compiling weekly Fault Analysis and RFT data for reporting
  • Supervision of inspection team’s priorities
  • AS13001 Over check and release of parts
  • Support QE’s with Non-conformance investigation, root cause analysis and reporting
  • Raise internal/external quality notifications and initiate initial containment meetings
  • Development and updating of final inspection plans and other quality documentation
  • Support FAIR completion & submission in accordance with AS9102
  • Support generation of PPAP documentation to for existing and new customers
  • Review measurement reports in line with customer acceptance/deviation permit limits & advise on disposition
  • Raise and submit concessions & deviation permits to customers as & when required

 

Skills & Experience of a Quality Technician:

  • Previous experience in Automotive or Aerospace engineering
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards
  • Level 3 NVQ or Certificate Level of Qualification, or Qualified by experience
  • Experience with technical engineering drawings
  • Experience with 8D/ Root cause analysis desirable
