Job Title: Employment Coach

Location: Middlesbrough and surrounding areas - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: up to £25,000 (Depending on experience) + benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and engaging individual who is looking to support the wider community and lower unemployment rates.

The Role:

• Develop and nurture high quality referral sources through networking and strong relationships, to generate learner referrals.
• Engage with referred learners to enrol onto suitable programmes and carry out onboarding activity; complete necessary documentation, determine prior learning, BKSB's and checking eligibility for courses.
• Carry out continuous pastoral support throughout the duration of the programme 
• Maximise employer relationships to enhance progression opportunities and technical workplace knowledge through attendance of suitable programme sessions.
• Liaise with learners once they have completed their programme and offer further opportunities for learning as deemed appropriate.
• Undertake national and community based market research/analysis to establish whether the services are market leading and relevant.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a Level 2 IAG.
• Must have experience of working within a similar role; engaging with learners and employers. 
• Ability to engage with and motivate learners from all backgrounds and respond appropriately to individual needs.
• Must have experience of working in a customer facing, target driven role.
• IT literate.
• Hold GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
