Job Description:

Are you a strong team player with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail ? We are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join this vibrant and growing business based at their Head Office in Lichfield, Staffordshire with hybrid working as standard. 

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with numbers and have strong Excel and systems skills. The day to day role is to maintain the treasury function for the business and assist the Financial Controller in management accounting duties. Reporting into the Treasury Accountant you will support the wider team with ad hoc duties as required.

Duties will include:

  • Manage and reconcile the company’s treasury requirements including Bank / Transactional reconciliation, Self-Billing Invoices (BPR), sales, commissions, expenses and Foreign Currency Conversions.
  • Manage general emails, query management and calls coming into Treasury team.
  • Reconciliation of different payment receipts on our ERP system Microsoft Navision (NAV).
  • Performing balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Cover other members of team during holidays.
  • Other month-end, project and ad-hoc related activities.

The ideal candidate will posses: 

  • Intermediate Excel Skills – pivot tables & V lookups would be desirable.
  • Good systems skills – use of Microsoft Navision.
  • Able to manage workload and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and have good attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Have strong communication, analytical & time management skills.
  • A good team player.
  • Willing to cover some weekends with days off in lieu in the week, including some bank holidays.
