Job Title: Finance Controller – Allied Healthcare (part of the Cera Care Family)

Location: Remote working with visits Stafford (ST18 0FX)

Hours: Fixed Term 12 month Contract working 37.5hrs

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE

We are looking for a Financial Controller with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience to lead our Healthcare financial accounting and reporting activities to ensure they’re carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice. 

What you will be doing:

• You’ll be responsible for the financial control and integrity of all transactions and the timely and end to end process.
• Management of Audit, Banking, Group and other external adviser relationships.
• Develop the Group reporting function and streamlining of month end processes working with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Manage the daily treasury and banking activities.
• Ensure Financial Operation readiness, relating to changes in administration, financial systems and impact assessment.
• To be responsible for developing and managing a team of staff.

 Qualifications & Experience

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in both core financial management/controller roles and experience within a central finance environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing Financial Operations, including General Ledger; Payroll; AR; AP; Credit Control and Finance Systems.
• Have significant experience in developing and leading finance functions driving best practice and fostering a business partnering approach where success is measured by being actively sought out for support and advice.
• Solid accounting technical expertise facilitating alignment of internal and external reporting requirements where appropriate.
