Senior Product Manager

A leading software provider to the aviation sector is currently looking for a Senior/Lead Product Manager to lead the develop and enhancements of new products, while the business goes through a transformation of their software from on-prem to the cloud.
To be considered for this role, previous experience of transitioning SaaS platforms to the cloud is essential, as is background in mentoring Product Managers or Product Owners.

While the business goes through this transformation over the next 5-years,the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for developing and optimising a range of new products, while also leading the Product Team in the delivery of ongoing projects and software upgrades.

The successful Senior Product Manager will have demonstrable leadership experience (this experience will be from a leadership/coaching/mentoring stance, not a direct management position), have experience delivering a product from very early stages through to delivery, cloud-based SaaS experience and taking an on-prem SaaS product to the cloud.

Based in Berkshire, the company operates a hybrid working model, and the salary on the role is £90k-£100k, depending on experience.


Responsibilities:

• Define the product strategy
• Develop and execute the product strategy
• Mentor and lead the product team
• Lead the Delivery team in the execution of the software
• Define product roadmaps.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ascertain user needs and competitor analysis.
• Lead business analysis in the company, ensuring the quality and detail relevant to requirements
• Work with the wider management team to ensure the product delivers the business strategy
• Create a training team with the ability to deliver product training for all client implementations
• Create and maintain all materials for training courses
• Create and drive a revenue stream through the development of training products
• Oversee the product development for new products
• Support the marketing of new products from concept to launch
• Efficiently action and resolve any issues that occur

• Experience delivering cloud-based SaaS products – essential
• Experience transitioning SaaS products from on-prem to the cloud – essential
• Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring product teams – essential
• Strong experience taking products from early stage to deliver – essential
• Strong experience in UX/UI
• Commercial aptitude – the ability to work closely with technical & non-technical teams
