Business Analyst - Technical, Data, SC Clearance, contract

A UK based consultancy specialising in the central government space is looking for several technical Business analyst contractors for one of the main clients.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be comfortable working within fast-paced client environments, you will lead the business data and systems analysis activities for products and services and become the domain expert in your area within the end client.  Working within Agile technical delivery teams, the role requires a combination of business analysis and technical analysis skills as well as being currently Security cleared.

The role will involve:

• Lead the data and systems analysis activities within the project, identifying the business and technical requirements and acceptance criteria
• Conduct data analysis activities to identify detailed requirements including business transformation mappings
• Create technical User Stories, including task breakdowns and explain them to the technical delivery team
• Work with the Solution Architect to develop and document detailed User Stories for the project backlog
• Work with the data consumers and internal teams to create speci?cations including detailed data de?nitions & mappings
• Formalise the results of data and systems analysis into structured documentation
• Form strong business relationships with suppliers and consumers of data
• Build out patterns and processes that can be repeated

Skillset

• Previous experience within a similar role - Technical Business Analyst, Technical Data Analyst, Product Business Analyst, Software Business Analyst etc all considered
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Pentaho Data Integration
