Transport Planner - Up to £37k - Central London


Our client are Independent Multidisciplinary Consultancy with a strong Transport Planning presence operating across the UK. They are looking for a transport planner to join theirTransport Planning team based in London. We're a friendly team of professionals with a mix of skills across transport and development planning they can offer an excellent environment for really developing your career. The office is well located being near to, Farringdon, Barbican and Old Street and includes other sector teams as part of a larger multi-disciplinary office.

Their work typically includes the preparation of transport reports, plans and drawings to support planning applications and the provision of advice to both established and new clients.

Job Description

The role involves a broad range of tasks including:

  • Development planning and design
  • Preparation of reports including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Delivery and Servicing Plans and Construction Logistics Plans.
  • Feasibility studies
  • Sustainable transport strategies
  • Data analysis
  • Traffic modelling and schematic design.

They're involved in a wide variety of projects and sectors, from landmark residential and commercial developments, masterplanning, healthcare and new schools and colleges. We work closely with our clients, planning consultants, architects and other professionals as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential requirements for this role include:

  • Degree in relevant subject (or equivalent)
  • Competent report writer
  • Ideally three years plus Development planning and design experience
  • Competent user of AutoCAD
