Role: Quality Assurance Manager

Salary: £35K-£45K depending on experience + benefits

Location: Bradford

My client are a specialist in designing & manufacturing cardboard folding cartons predominantly for the EU food industry and are looking to bring in an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with experience in Food Packaging to join their Senior management team.

Responsibilities include:

*Ensure the company maintains its accreditations (ISO9001, ISO 14001-2015, OHAS45001, BRC/IOP 7FSC)

*Maintain and improve regulations and best practice.

*Maintain records and report on progress to the management team.

*Be the go-to Subject Matter Expert on all things QHSE.

*Liaise with the supply chain and ensure they play their part in the company’s performance and compliance.

*Provide training as and when necessary.

*Keep all manuals up to date and relevant.

You’ll be at the centre of operations and working with the wider team to engage them with your enthusiastic communication and keep everybody on track, not just of ‘what’ must be done, but also ‘why’ it’s so important.

THE CANDIDATE

*3years managing Quality and Health and Safety/Compliance within a Packaging business, ideally within Food Packaging.

*NEBOSH qualification or similar is a benefit.

*Excellent and contemporary understanding of Quality Management Systems

*Able to influence across teams and individuals
