Are you a specialist Teacher who has experience working with EBD and SEMH pupils in KS1 or Early Years? We are currently looking to recruit an experienced teacher to work in a highly regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Fulham with a child in EYFS. The Pupil Referral unit supports pupils with various behavioural and emotional needs. The Role

This large PRU are looking to recruit an experienced EYFS class teacher to work with a pupil with SEMH needs in EYFS.  This will be a 2 to 1 role where you will work alongside an experienced Teaching Assistant supporting the child in a classroom environment. You will need to be approachable and patient and be able to build a strong rapport with the child and have a good understanding of the EYFS. You will receive support from the senior leadership team and therapists emotional and behavioural support.  Experience in similar settings is essential, along with a calm and resilient approach.

This is a full-time contract role until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for a fully qualified teacher with QTS and previous PRU experience. 

The PRU

This Alternative provision is part of a specialist academy trust which provides specialist support for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education. They have a culture of  resilience, compassion and innovation with a true drive to ensure every learner reaches their full potential. This setting in Fulham has a total of 16 places for primary and secondary age children who experience difficulties with their learning and behaviour in mainstream school. Some pupils have an EHCP in place whilst others are at risk of being (or have been) permanently excluded. The school follows the national curriculum alongside a range of extracurricular activities to enhance their learning. The school uses their own Behaviour for Learning framework which is based on the relationship with self, others and curriculum, and promotes positive learning behaviours inside and outside the classroom. The school is easily accessible by bus and tube.
