Hello Education are looking to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a SEN pupil. The position will be based within a Darlington primary school and the successful Learning Support Assistant will be joining a friendly and dedicated team who all share the same desire to help all their pupils achieve their full potential.

As part of the role, the Learning Support Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism therefore applicants must have knowledge regarding Autism and the way in which it can present itself daily.

Use of Makaton is an advantage however not essential  

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have the following:

• Previously worked with SEN pupil or young adults
• Knowledge and experience support those with Autism
• Be dedicated and reliable
• Use own initiative when working independently
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (willing to obtain)
