THE JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

THE PRODUCT: Automotive Refinish Product Manufacturer

THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£35,000 Basic + Bonus + Commission + Vehicle + Benefits

THE TERRITORY: East Midlands

THE ROLE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

As a business development manager, your role is simple: to take responsibility for your area and create sales growth within it.

Covering an area of the East Midlands, you will be utilising all the tools in your arsenal to maintain and create growth. Selling through distributors, you will work closely with them to deal with the end users which consist primarily of body shops and vehicle repairers. The key to success is teamwork, as you will be working closely with distributor sales teams as they sell your products for you. Due to the technical nature of the products and equipment sold, you are there to work with the distributors on demonstrating the products, all with the objective of closing the deal.

Alongside the sales element of your role, you will also be demonstrating products and answering any technical queries that customers may have. You will receive full training for this to ensure you are fully comfortable with all of the products being sold – the key is the have the enthusiasm to learn.

This is a full spectrum role where you will be working with distributors to sell your products, visiting end users to refer sales back through the distributors and demonstrating and training any customers.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

We are looking for someone that has experience within Field Sales in the automotive industry. Ideally someone with experience of dealing with distributors and/on end users such as body shops or garagaes.

Alongside relevant experience, you need to have the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn and apply yourself in all areas of the role.

A global manufacturer of refinish products have seen extremely positive growth over the past few years in the UK marketplace. As such, the team is growing a brand-new role for a business development manager has arisen to work within their refinish division.
