Java Developer's required for our Central Government client on an initial 12 month contract in London OR Manchester (hybrid working). We are looking for outstanding skills and you must be ready to quickly get to work within an Agile, multidisciplinary team of Developers, Designers, and Analysts.

The ideal candidates will have a proven, recent background as a Java Developer (11 or later), Excellent understanding of TDD and BDD, experience with large microservice architectures. Familiar with working within an agile environment and willing to participate as an active team member willing to work within a pair programming environment. Implementing APIs for internal and external use. It would also be desirable if you have had previous exposure to Jackson, JAX-RS, mocking frameworks such as Mockito, and messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ or Kafk and experience with MongoDB or other document databases, building and scaling high-traffic websites and handling large data sets and scaling their handling and storage.

NB: The successful applicants must be eligible to go through SC level clearance. A basic level clearance will be required initially to join and the SC will be completed in the background while your assignment is ongoing.
