Job Description:

Role - Reliability & Continious Improvement Engineer

Salary - £45-50k DOE

Hours – Monday to Friday days (35 hours)

Location – Matlock

Holidays - 24 days annual leave rising to 26 plus bank holiday

My client is recruiting for a motivated Reliability Engineer to join a global market leading manufacturing firm in Matlock. You will be a key member of the engineering team providing the highest valued reliability engineering services in a safe and productive manner. Day to day, you will be involved in minimising production losses and maintenance costs, whilst promoting and demonstrating the company’s core values.

The successful Reliability Engineer will have experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing plant with a minimum of 2 years reliability experience.

Additional Responsibilities of the Reliability Engineer:

-        Maintain strong relationships with the maintenance & operations team and build disciplines for efficient and effective running of production process

-        Lead corporate surveys, questionnaires as part of annua reliability assessments

-        Lead root cause fault and failures analysis to understand why faults have occurred

-        Provide necessary service support and training to employees

-        Motivate and train engineers towards continuous improvement

Requirements of the Reliability Engineer:

-        Engineering degree or hands maintenance experience within an engineering/manufacturing plant setting

-        Experience of FMECA’s, planned maintenance recommendations with preventing probable failures, production, and cost loss

-        Understand the reliability processes, process, and engineering concepts

-        Strong analytical skills

-        Experience with building standardised planned maintenance within a CMMS, MS, Excel or AutoCAD system
