Job Title: Healthcare Cleaning Trainer / Assessor

Location: Must be flexible with travel throughout Kent and London (Home/Field based)

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent   Our client is happy to consider non qualified Assessors, who possess solid experience within Healthcare Cleaning, and ideally some exposure to learning and development.
Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Assessor award.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ideally have experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Healthcare Cleaning - though this is not essential.
  • Must hold strong occupational competency in housekeeping/cleaning and decontamination, within a clinical healthcare environment (e.g. Hospital / GP Surgery).
  • Must hold a sound understanding of healthcare and hygiene areas that require particular attention across infection control; safety and sanitation.
  • Confident with Maths and English
  • Confident with the use of IT 
  • Ideally hold a BICSc qualification.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Delivering full Apprenticeship qualifications in Healthcare Cleaning up to Level 3.
  • Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face to face learning).
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
