Job Description:
Helpdesk / service desk – remote / hybrid role. Remote customer technical support.
This hugely successful systems company has won a number of awards for its range of innovative products and currently has an opening on their UK Technical Support desk.
This exciting role will involve supporting their systems used at over 1,000 client sites across the UK, together with associated IT support services (Windows, connectivity, software applications).
The client will provide full training on the systems but requires you to have a keen interest in hardware, with a basic understanding of electronics (could you name and describe the function of the components on a PCB board?), having you some basic electrical theory.
Although this is a remote support position (you won’t be touching the equipment when supporting it) it does need someone who has been ‘hands-on’ before. Perhaps you have used your electronics / electro-mechanical-cum-IT skills for some hobbyist work or simply repairing appliances / devices around your house.
