A global powerhouse business which is part of continuous innovation for green and sustainable electrical power solutions making a positive impact on the world, is looking for their next Field Services Manager. Working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (you will be site based, so no travel), alongside their Company Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, 5% Annual Bonus.

You will be site based in their multimillion pound facility located in Sheffield working alongside the Head of Services to continuously improve the Field Service Team which includes several Installation and Inspection Engineers that are out on a variety of sites at any one time.

Your primary duties include overseeing other members of the service team, developing and implementing service procedures, maintaining customer relationships and have a good experience and knowledge of industrial electrical power/switchgear systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• To work closely with Head of services to grow the department as the business grows.
• Supervising other members of the service team
• Liaise with booking department and engineers regarding site visits, reports and RAMS
• Write Risk and Method Statements and ensure they are followed for service department Inspection visits.
• Be responsible for content approval and editing of Inspection reports and recommendations including quotations for upgrades of their systems
• Updating service methods to improve overall efficiency

What you need to show us: 

• An Engineering/Electrical Qualification (C&G, ONC, HNC in an electrical discipline) 
• Understanding and ability of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
• Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
