Amazing opportunity to work on days, Monday to Friday offering £45K per year. We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a world-leading, forward-thinking company which has a focus on sustainability. You will be attending breakdowns, PPM schedules onsite in Glasgow.

Company Van Provided with fuel card  – This is a site based role covering 3 sites throughout Glasgow.

The Opportunity

You will be working on big industrial balers, 2000 tonne shears, mobile cranes for material handling, screw conveyors, in feed conveyors, Separators, sortation machines, big industrial magnets and more. It’s a heavy industrial environment where most of the work will be outside, you will have to be self-motivated to get your hands dirty quite often in the wet and cold.

Working on multi-million-pound heavy industrial machinery, some old and some brand new. You will need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty as it is part of the heavy engineering sector.

We are looking for either bias maintenance engineers –

  • Electrical bias but is happy working on mechanical works
  • Mechanical bias but can do basic electrical – Rewire motors, Sensors, Relays etc.

Experience required:

  • Either a mechanical or electrical discipline – Level 3
  • Need to be mechanically strong
  • At least 3 years’ experience maintaining/repairing heavy special purpose machinery as a Maintenance Engineer
