Exciting opportunity for a Trade Compliance Administrator to join a market leading organisation. As  Trade Compliance Administrator you will be required the ongoing local development, continuous improvement and processing of the trade compliance functions as it relates to the corporate import and export policies The role demands exceptional communication and collaboration skills, as well as developing knowledge of import and export trade regulations. The Trade Compliance Administrator will support the locations in processing and delivering import and export activities, interacting with all the various functional areas and taking direction from the Trade Compliance Officer, designated UK Trade Compliance Senior Managers and Corporate International Trade Compliance office.                   

 

Trade Compliance Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the Trade Compliance Officer.
  • Maintain and continuously improve on import and export compliance procedures and program documentation,
  • Support Trade Compliance training and audits as directed.
  • Prepare and submit license applications, international permits, technical assistance agreements and other request for licenses and approvals to the appropriate Government Agencies ensuring compliance with conditions and reporting requirements as expected at the UK and CITC level.
  • Conduct licensing reviews for technology transfers, including marketing materials, proposals and engineering data.
  • System data management
  • Act as import and export compliance liaison to sales representatives, distributors, customers and other third parties, as required.
  • Review Customs entries for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations, UK Level and CITC Level policies and procedures.
  • Assist Trade Compliance Officer with quarterly and yearly reporting requirements.
  • Assist Corporate Legal- International Trade Compliance Office with investigations of any incidences of purported non-compliance with import and export laws and regulations.

 

Trade Compliance Administrator Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing/Technical environment.
  • Good standard of secondary school education.
  • Working Knowledge of ERP advantageous.
