Ashberry Recruitment are looking to recruit a Registered Manager for a new children’s home within the West Yorkshire area.
In order to be considered for the position of Registered Manager, you will have extensive experience of working at managerial level within a residential children’s home environment. You will have broad experience of supporting young people presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be proficient in the management, supervision and appraisal of staff teams as well as budget keeping and all paperwork and legislation relating to Ofsted.
As Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the 2 bed children’s home, working to the Quality Standards and Ofsted guideline to consistently bring about positive outcomes for the young people in your care. You will liaise with outside agencies, Ofsted and your senior management team, striving to achieve successful ratings for the home, young people and organisation.
To apply for the position of Registered Manager you will need to hold or be working towards an RMA, Diploma Level 5, NVQL5 Residential Child Care qualification or equivalent with a proven track record of running/making a managerial contribution to the running of, GOOD/OUTSTANDING children’s homes. Driving licence with Business Insurance essential.
The appointed candidate will be involved in all aspects prior to the opening of the new 2 bed residential home.
