***LOCATION: CORK, Ireland (MULTINATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY, funded relocation)

***EU/UK Passport or Stamp 4 Visa required

The Contract and Budget Associate is responsible for overseeing specific clinical contract and budget negotiation activities. The associate will also be expected to balance the requirements of ensuring appropriate controls with a streamlined, customer-focused, and timely contracting process.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Communicate company’s position on various contract and budget issues, identify relationship-building opportunities, secure site contracts, and budgets, collect site feedback, and facilitate communication with various personnel. 
  • Assisting Trial Capabilities Associates with difficult contract and budget negotiations and significant interventions, and follow-up will be necessary to facilitate this objective
  • Communicate and negotiate more complex contracts and budgets, including Phase I, PET Studies, Oncology Cooperatives, Oncology Networks, and/or Endocrine portfolio sites
  • Develop and implement training for new contract and budget associates and customers
  • Create, maintain, and distribute contract and budget templates, process documentation, and contract and budget-specific documentation
  • Developing study-specific contracting and budgeting strategy with the internal stakeholders
  • Assure that contractual terms and provisions are in compliance with agreed study level process, strategies, conformance to applicable laws & precedents.
  • Arrange legal input where needed.
  • Anticipate changes by evaluating issues and opportunities, both internal and external, and making recommendations to TC management.
  • Standardizing and streamlining contract and budget negotiation activities, as well as using metrics to drive improvement throughout the entire contracting process

 

 

Qualification and skills requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably from legal/health science/finance/engineering field)
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian a must
  • Min. 3-5 years of experience negotiating contracts and budgets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation, diplomacy, team leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate both individuals and a team
  • Working proficiency of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Thorough understanding of GDPR and other privacy regulations
  • Project management education
