£45k - £60k (Experience Dependant)

25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Hours: Mon – Thurs 8am – 4:45pm – Friday 8am – 12pm

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in the Fareham area.

This dynamic company are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised individual to join their global business as a Lead Quality Engineer.  You will be responsible for maintaining and improvement of the quality processes and ensuring product flow is consistent and compliant with the industry standards.


This role would suit someone who is who has had previous quality experience, with a can-do attitude and leadership skills to keep the team running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities for a Lead Quality Engineer will include:-


  • Provide quality customer updates ensuring their needs are understood and satisfied.
  • Support supply chain management.
  • Development/improvement and implementation of the Quality Management System.
  • Internal auditing.
  • Contribution in the design and implantation of quality assurance training programs
  • Investigation and elimination of complex quality problems and follow ups on corrective actions.


Skill set Required for a Lead Quality Engineer:-


  • Understanding of problem-solving methods (six sigma/8D/root cause analysis)
  • Detailed knowledge of quality regulations (ISO9001 & AS9100)
  • Strong knowledge of auditing techniques
  • Knowledge of product and end user applications/specifications
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and Variation Reduction concepts.
