Our client is looking to recruit for a 1st & 2nd Line support administrator for the company Payroll HR and Finance systems:
o Logging 3rd line support calls
o Training for all roles that use the system
o Documentation for all processes within the system
o Running key performance reports/volume reports to analyse key areas
o Maintaining user setup & closedown with the appropriate audit trail
o Liaising with internal IT for patches/upgrade work & progression
o Reviewing and improving processes where necessary
o Maintain and control HR and Payroll system to meet the requirements of the organisation.
• General duties include:
o Maintain and update all macro excel templates used by HR, finance & operational staff
o Maintain and update all sql reports used by HR, finance & operational staff
o Maintain and update any and all documentation/training materials for group systems
o Maintain helpdesk email for all the financial systems including ERP, intranet, payment & banking systems.
• Bacs payment software 1st and 2nd line support:
o Raising 3rd line support request with external support team
o Managing all legal entities bacs, salary & direct debit payment setup
o Maintaining all relevant documentation for training and processes
o Training all users
o Testing and setup of any and all payment setups
Systems Administrator role is highly autonomous, with a focus on providing broad technical resolution, reporting, training and maintenance on HR and Payroll functions with the Application suite. Secondary to maintaining the HR and Payroll functions within support and maintenance will be required on an adhoc basis for the finance function.
In addition to the technical aspects, this position will also be responsible for providing advice and coaching to our customers, to ensure that they feel confident and comfortable using the IT resources made available to them within agreed time frames and SLA’s.
They will be a champion of the customer service and satisfaction ethos of the IT department.
Essential Skills: Good knowledge of SQL reporting and macro functionality within Excel. Specialism in managing and maintaining HR and Payroll Functions
Key Skills: Advanced Excel skills to macro level, SQL reporting, systems administration knowledge to 1st & 2nd line support level
Experience: Worked in a previous system administration role in supporting and maintaining in house application suite with exposure to SQL reporting & Excel VBA.
SQL Reporting and advanced excel knowledge.
