A large, popular junior school in Enfield are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1 to 1 basis from September 2022.

The Role

In this role you will be based in Year 4 working with a child with SEMH & ADHD who requires support in lessons and accessing academic activities. The child is very keen to learn and be part of the class but requires support to manage their emotions and behaviour so a calm, confident approach will be essential. Part of your role will be supporting the child to take part in group work in the class and supporting them to work with her peers. You will be required at times to provide staffing cover at playtimes. Alongside supporting the pupil on a 1 to 1 basis, you will be involved in supporting the teacher with preparation and administration tasks as required.

The role will be full-time and is offered on a contract basis from September 2022 until the end of the school year.
