We have an amazing opportunity to join Competenz's South Island Industry Training - Traineeships team!

The Account Manager - Traineeships will be responsible for maintaining current business within agreed KPIs and will need to generate new business with existing customer bases. You will need to promote, arrange, and manage training to an agreed set of regional customers and develop relationships with customers, Providers and other key stakeholders to assist with successful learner outcomes. You will also need to advise on solutions to add value to potential and existing customers and be a key driver in developing and implementing region Target Growth Plans.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako – Essential skills/experiences for the role

  • A minimum of 3 years account management experience.
  • Industry related knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of Education or Training industry beneficial.
  • Competent in statistical analysis.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage own territory effectively and efficiently to meet targets set.
  • A strong communicator (both verbal and written) with a clear and concise presentation style
  • Proven experience in influencing the growth of sectors with strong business development skills
  • Self-driven and motivated approach
