SEN Teaching Assistant

Mainstream Primary School

An 'Outstanding' Primary school in Brent is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant your role will be to support children with Special Needs in Early Years and Key Stage 1. You will be supporting children with a variety of needs such as autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. You will be working in partnership with the SENCo and Class Teacher in developing effective interventions to further support children’s learning. In addition, you will be helping children with their communication and social skills. You will have good experience in supporting children with special needs.

 

  • £80-£90 per day - dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time, long-term
  • September start 

 

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

  • Be proactive
  • Work well in a team
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Have good experience working one-to-one and in groups
