New Business Sales Manager


Job Description:

My client is an award-winning contractor accountancy based in Altrincham, established over 20 years ago they have gone from strength to strength and now sit as one of the market leaders in their sector.

Due to continued growth and success, they’re now seeking an experienced New Business Manager to bolster and drive their established team of New Business Sales staff.  The team is well established and performing well, reaping the rewards of a fantastic 75% conversion rate.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. You won’t be expected to work any crazy shifts or weekends in this role!

The Role
- Manage, develop and co-ordinate the New Business Sales team and associated sales activities
- Define and implement new/improved strategies where required
- Monitor performance and provide skilled guidance to team members
- Act as a general point of escalation within the department
- Provide ongoing, training and development to each individual team member
- Conduct staff member 1-2-1’s, reviews and appraisals, and act as the key point of support within the team
- Be responsible for interviewing and training new staff members for the department

The Person
- Has a demonstrable, successful background in new business sales (bonus points if this is within the financial sector!)
- Has experience in managing a team of sales professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- First class customer service skills
- A “people’s person” who genuinely loves driving, motivating and guiding others

Salary & Benefits
A generous base salary of up to £35,000 is on offer for this position, plus a realistic first year OTE of £65,000 (No - I mean it! This is what others in this same role take home!).
