Hello Education require an enthusiastic and hardworking Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within a large primary school based in Darlington supporting across all the key stages including EYFS.

Applicants for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role must have experience of delivering lessons in the absence of a Class Teacher which showcases their classroom management and behaviour control.

The school is of mixed abilities and classes will include SEN pupils as well as the school having an onsite SEN base, as part of the role the successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant may be required to support within the base and/or on a 1:1 basis with students needing additional support.

We want to hear for you if you;

• Hold a relevant HLTA qualification or degree level relevant qualification
• At least 6 months UK Primary teaching experience
• Have a great understanding of the current curriculum
• Confident across EYFs, KS1 and KS2
• Previously helped plan and deliver lessons independently
• Reliable with a flexible approach
