My client is one of the market leaders in their field locally and is currently looking for a Head of Property Management to manage the existing portfolio and team. 

Working out of their Cheltenham office, the suitable Head of Property Management will come from a stable career background with at least 3 years property management experience (either from a Senior Property Manager/Team Leader level or Lettings Manager) with a thorough understanding of all technical/legal matters and the ability to monitor client retention, handle compliance, oversee turnaround times and generally guide and manage the wider property management team.

Given our client’s independent nature and growth as a result of local reputation, they seek a like-minded Head of Property Management who works on the basis of accountability, communication, attention to detail and customer focus. This position offers substantial career and financial potential to the successful candidate as well as the creative freedom to develop and enhance a department in their image.

Head of Property Management - experience needed:

• An experienced manager or Senior Property Manager/Team Leader with at least 3 years Property Management experience.
• Able to provide and ensure others provide, a high level of customer service.
• Knowledgeable in lettings and up to date with industry legislation.
• Proactive, approachable and supportive.
• Highly organised, and capable of managing a team of up to 6 members of staff.
• Professional, articulate and proficient in problem resolution.
• Hold a UK driving licence
• Ideally hold ARLA qualification

You’ll be:

• Measuring and managing your teams efficiency, productivity and drive, through set KPIs.
• Reviewing departmental processes and setting clear objectives, to ensure consistency in the thorough management of each Property Managers property portfolio.
• Ensuring your team work within brand guidelines, to provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Overseeing the effective management of all end of tenancy objectives.
• Dealing with any complaints escalated to management level, and ensuring swift conflict resolution.
• Managing and cultivating relationship with 3rd party service providers.
• Account managing a small portfolio of landlords and attend client meetings.
• Report directly to the Managing Director and working together to ensure department success and growth.
