Chef needed in Bedford £11.00 per hr PAYE - Reference: 5207946

This role will involve: 

• To provide a high standard of catering at the care home
• To prepare high quality and nourishing meals to residents whilst maintaining a clean hygienic working environment.
• To liaise with the home Manager and care staff to ensure suitable nourishment is provided and available to residents at all times
• To prepare, cook and serve meals for residents in accordance to policy and procedure.
• Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines.
• To check deliveries against invoices/ delivery notes and respond to any discrepancies.
• To maintain high standard of hygiene within the main kitchen and any satellite kitchen by adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines and cleaning schedules including deep cleaning of all areas.
• To maintain adequate stock control of all foods

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
