I am seeking an experienced Material Controller to join an established organisation with the opportunity to progress into a Material Planning role.

This is an excellent opportunity as Material Controller to join a growing organisation who are a leader in their field.

The main duties and responsibilities of the appointed Material Controller will be:

• Progress open orders in advance to ensure on time delivery
• Manage any material non-conformances with suppliers
• Maintain the approved supplier list with latest ISO Cert
• Chase order confirmations
• Update order confirmations within AX12
• Update project status sheet with any delays & latest deliveries.
• Monitor Kits issued to production
• Update various data bases
• Liaise with various departments to advise on material consumption.

The Skills and experience needed to be the successful Material Controller are:

• Experience with MRP/ ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient with MS office and Excel in particular
• Attention to detail
