FPGA Engineer Position available NOW

• Up to €80 P/h -
• 6-month Contract with the possibility of extension.
• Hybrid - On site in Stuttgart 5 days a month or 1 day a week

You will be working with a company that develops innovative automotive systems for sub-areas like CarIT, Infotainment and connected systems. They work closely with some of the biggest Automotive companies in the market with millions of customers around the world.

Tasks:

• Requirements analysis and conception of FPGA modules
• Design of FPGA modules and their test in simulation and laboratory
• Maintenance of an existing processing concept for digital image feed
• Making architectural and implementation decisions
• Definition and documentation of hardware and software interfaces
• Hardware-related programming of the FPGA interface in C/C++
• System design and review of printed circuit board designs
• Customer support and on-site commissioning
• Support for external service providers

Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in the development of FPGA modules / designs / SoCs
• Several years of experience with Systems-on-Chip such as Xilinx-Artix, Kintex and/or Lattice-Crosslink as well as Xilinx Vivado or similar
• Good knowledge of hardware design and circuit board design for high-speed transmissions (eCAD tools, schematics and pcbs)
• Good knowledge of image & camera sensors and experience in signal & image processing
• Very good knowledge of VHDL, good knowledge of C/C++
