The focus in this requirement is to ensure that the Software produced is being tested and for problems to be identified as early as possible, ensuring the Development process runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Software Test Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the Design, Development and maintenance of testing mechanisms used by Software Engineers, application engineers and as automated processes. The organisation in question is currently testing with both automation and manual so have a balance of experience with both methods of testing would be ideal.
The client offer great and competitive salaries and this position has been benchmarked between £35,000-£39,000 dependant on experience. In addition to the salary there is a very appealing benefits package which is inclusive of 25 days holiday, bonus scheme, private healthcare and medical cover, life assurance, pension and free on-site parking. The holiday allowance listed above increases after 3 years’ service. There is a great chance to increase your salary, standardly salary reviews happen annually but if you are exceeding expectations do expect your salary to be increased accordingly.
