Asset Strategy Manager


Job Description:

Asset Strategy Manager needed in Basildon £28.83 per hr PAYE - Reference: RQ668093

This role will involve:

  • Work with the Head of Service to review and develop the Corporate & Housing Asset Management Strategy for the client as a critical business tool, enabling alignment with all property assets and business need, directly linked to the Corporate Plan and supported by the 30-year Business Plan.
  • Ensure building safety compliance across all housing and corporate assets, informing the delivery of planned and major works building safety programmes. Ensure robust and transparent monitoring and reporting of all risk areas including fire, legionella, asbestos, gas, electrics, and lifts, highlighting issues of non-compliance as required with relevant actions in place to manage.
  • To act as the energy and sustainability advisor for the client having oversight of all corporate & housing related matters ensuring all property related energy and sustainability responsibilities are met and that all homes and buildings comply with relevant energy and sustainability regulatory requirements including coordinating energy efficiency work ensuring we are working towards Net Zero 2030.


This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
