HGV Direct is looking to hire a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE for its busy Crayford branch. You will be a vital part of a well-established team that goes on and above to ensure their clients get the parts they need when they need them.

This is a key role that will always require accuracy and attention to detail. An HGV Direct warehouse is a busy place, with commercial vehicle parts and consumables coming and going every minute of the day. You are the glue between the parts advisors and the drivers ensuring every ordered part leaves on time, every time. Commercial vehicles often operate 24hrs per day and cannot be standing on a ramp for any longer than necessary. Time really is money for the transport industry and that is why every warehouse operative must have quality service at the heart of everything they do. You will be picking, packing, and loading goods onto the delivery vehicles whilst ensuring all relevant paperwork is complete. Keeping the stock records up to date and keeping the warehouse clean and safe.

If you have previous warehouse experience that would be a distinct advantage, but it is not essential. 40 hours - Monday to Friday plus every two Saturdays per month (6 hours only averaging 43 hours per week)

Salary depending on experience is up to £24,000 per annum.
