We have had a new opportunity for a Drama Teacher to join a well-respected Secondary school in Dagenham on a long-term basis whilst they appoint a new permanent teacher. The school are able to appoint either a qualified or unqualified teacher.
The Role
In this role you will be teaching weekly drama classes across up to KS3. You will work closely with the schools creative arts department to ensure pupils have access to high-quality, engaging drama lessons. There is existing planning at the school, but the school are open to the incoming drama teacher to bring their own projects and lessons.
This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis for 5 days a week whilst the school appoint a new drama teacher on a permanent basis.
The school are interested in applications from experienced drama practitioners as well as qualified teachers.
The School
This mixed secondary school is based in Dagenham, has a good "Ofsted" report is close to the district line. There is an established leadership in place at the school who have high expectations of both staff and pupils. The teaching team within the school ensure all pupils have access to a range of creative learning opportunities.
