Area Sales Manager - Aggregates

Peterborough, Bury St Edmonds, Thetford, Cambridge, Ely, March 

£36,000 -£40,000 Plus bonus

We are a national heavy side manufacturer with nationwide coverage. This division is their specialist merchant division with a difference.

Over the past 5 years this division has gone from strength to strength. Due to a recent promotion of the current Area Sales Manager, there is an opening for a new person to join the team and grow this untapped area.

The role of Area Sales Manager is a diverse role with multiple elements to it. You will be buying products from other divisions of the business and from other suppliers to maximise the projects value of the business you win.

The area of East Anglia, Cambridge and surrounding areas has massive potential for growth with new and exciting service waiting in the wings.

You will have the support of an amazing internal sales team and existing Area Sales Managers with longevity in the business in adjoining areas.

You will have full responsibility over the P&L for the East and will work alongside the management team to drive this area.

• Sales and Business development experience
• Contacts with Ground-workers and Contractors
• Worked for a heavy side product manufacturer or merchant
• Knowledge of ready mix concrete, Aggregates, Precast concrete, Recycled Aggregates, Muck away services or something similar
