Class Teacher needed for a full-time and long-term role in Sunderland

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Primary Teacher in Sunderland who has experience teaching from EYFS to KS2/Early years to Key Stage two.

A large primary school with an excellent reputation in Sunderland is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to start work immediately on a full time basis.

The candidate must be experienced in Early Years and have experience of planning, creating and performing lessons on phonics across all the key stages. Moreover, the school are seeking a teacher with excellent behaviour management and the Teacher must have the ability to meet all the children's needs to ensure they make great progress, particularly with EAL students or students with SEND.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who teaches with an enthusiastic and nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning and behaviour management.

Applicants need to have/be:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Has a passion for learning and is an outstanding and inspirational teacher with high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
• Have a detailed knowledge of relevant aspects of the primary curriculum as well as other statutory requirements and initiatives.
• Early Years/EYFS experience
• KS1/ Key Stage 1 experience
• KS2 / Key Stage 2 experience  
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• An updated DBS and right to work in the UK
