An opportunity has just become available for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely church of England primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham on a full-time basis.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a child in reception with global delay. You will support the child to access play-based learning by adapting tasks and activities. You will need to have clear communication and be able to simplify instructions and use pictorial guides. The school would like to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting children with Special Educational needs

This role is to start ASAP, but the school will wait until January for the right Teaching Assistant. This role is offered on a full-time contract basis and will continue for the next academic year until July 2023.

This small Church of England primary school is situated in Hammersmith and Fulham.  The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes firsthand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly. As a 1-form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the phase work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups.
