A delightful primary school in Waltham Forest are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to lead booster sessions for year 6 pupils.

The Role

The school is looking for an experienced teacher who can plan and teach daily booster lessons in English for Year 6 pupils. The priority in this role will be to boost reading and writing attainment in Year 6 but there may be some sessions including SPaG. You will work with small groups and some individual pupils throughout the day who are working below the expected level or at expected level but have the potential to achieve greater depth. The class teacher will provide guidance on areas that the children need to develop but you will be responsible for planning and preparing activities for the individual groups and providing assessments. 

 

The school are looking for a qualified primary teacher who has previous experience teaching in year 6 and can start immediately.

The role is offered on a part-time ongoing contract basis and can be either 3 or 4 days a week.
