Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000

West Bromwich

Double Days – 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm

Then going on to a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern later down the line, for which you would be well compensated with in your Shift Allowance. 
 

The Company

My client is looking to build a new maintenance engineer team after a recent multi-million pound investment in a newly built factory. This role will consist of a mix of both mechanical and electrical reactive maintenance along with PPM’s, with a future plan of developing into mainly PPM. Experience in heavy industry would be advantageous but not essential. Some of the machines you will be working with include:

. Low pressure casting machines

. X-Ray

. Robotics ABB and Fanuc

. Paint shop equipment

. Furnaces Gas and Electrical

. Heat treatment plant

. CNC/Drilling machines

. Rotary Forge/Flow

. General building maintenance

. Pressure testers

Experience required:

• At least five years working as a maintenance engineer
• Must have experience with electrical or mechanical fault finding  
• PLC knowledge advantageous but not essential
• Medium/heavy industry knowledge
