£41,000 -£42,000
4on/4off Days/Nights + overtime earnings easily £50,000 - £55,000

My client have been manufacturing for over 150 years and have a strong reputation in the area, they have recently had £12 million investment and supply metal to various industries including the mobile phone industry through to the cymbals on drum kits. Duties of a Maintenance Fitter:
Days to day you will be expected to be working with a variety of plant machinery which includes melting furnaces, strip casters, rolling mills, pickling lines, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors and water pumps. As a maintenance fitter you will have some knowledge on the above. You will working alongside one electrician on site and the site is large.

As a maintenance fitter you will have some knowledge on the above. You will working alongside one electrician on site and the site is large.
Experience required for the maintenance fitter:
- Qualified to level 3 or apprenticeship served in a mechanical discipline
- Experience within heavy industry is advantageous
- MUST have knowledge on hydraulics
- Exp. With belts, straps, chains, pulleys, drive shafts etc
- Welding knowledge is advantageous
