Senior Cyber Security Specialist - Birmingham/London (Hybrid Working - 2 days/week in office) - Up to £65k + Benefits - Permanent

Are you a Cyber Security Engineer who is able to deliver value across infrastructure and network security? We are hiring for a professional services business with offices in the Midlands and London to boost their Cyber Security function and support their internal team in developing their capability.

You will need to have a background in IT Infrastructure or as a Network Engineer and have moved in to Cyber Security, giving you the fundamentals and more recently a cybersec focus. 

Main Duties:
•    Analyse computing/network infrastructure to determine vulnerabilities, recommend safeguards to mitigate risk, to ensure applications and servers are operating in accordance with established policies and procedures
•    Identify and implement appropriate technologies including but not limited to:
o    Cyber and Information security, including vulnerability assessment and scanning, DDOS protection, penetration testing, encryption at rest and in transit
o    Server and endpoint vulnerability, data encryption and malware protection
o    Endpoint device protection including laptop and mobile devices
o    Advise and assist where required with network, DMZ and firewall infrastructure including IDS, IDP, threat emulation, threat extraction and other such technologies Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

The role offers up to £65k for the right candidate and can be based in either their Birmingham or London offices. They offer hybrid working with up to 2 days each week in the office, although there is flexibility on this.
