The school 

• Based in Newcastle
• Students are aged from 18 to 25 years old
• The young adults who attend this college have Autism and significant learning difficulties
• Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted 

The role 

• Full time LSA   
• Supporting young adults who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities
• Promote independence and prepare students for the transition to adult life
• Provide personal care
• Provide emotional and behavioural support
• Some 1-2-1 work is required 

You

• Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school
• Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent (not essential)
• Will have experience supporting young adults with special needs
• Will have previously worked 1-2-1 or be willing to
• Will be willing to provide personal care
• Will have a friendly and caring personality
