Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000
Location: Sheffield 
Working hours - Monday – Friday Days
The main sites are Sheffield, Bradford, Leeds with occasional trips to Worksop, Lincoln and Nottingham.
Mobile role with a van and fuel card. No working away from home and only covering a small patch.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join our mobile maintenance team covering the Midlands. This forward-thinking company has a huge focus on sustainability. You will be attending breakdowns, and PPM schedules onsite.
You will be working on 2000-tonne shears, mobile cranes for material handling, screw conveyors, in feed conveyors, Separators, sortation machines, big industrial magnets and more. It’s a heavy industrial environment where most of the work will be outside, you will have to be self-motivated to get your hands dirty quite often in the wet and cold.

Experience needed.

• Must have NVQ/C&G quals in electrical discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Must be able to read drawings, use a multi meter to diagnose faults, have experience wiring 3-phase motors and replacing inverters, contactors, relays, sensors etc.
• PLC S7 knowledge – input, outputs.
• Hydraulics experience desirable.
• Must have worked in a heavy industrial environment previously.
• Maintenance Engineers from heavy industry will thrive – Quarry, Aggregates, Recycling, Power/Utilities, shipyard.
• Experienced Multi-skilled maintenance Engineer with electrical qualifications.
