Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging Geography lessons to students at various academic levels.
  • Creating and implementing well-structured lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Inspiring students to develop a curiosity about the world and an understanding of global issues.
  • Providing timely feedback on student progress, assessing assignments, and conducting assessments.
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich students' educational experience.

 Requirements 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
  • Specialization in Geography or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining high academic standards and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
