Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Northampton
£26,000 - £30,000
Day Shift 08:00am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday
We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other Equivalent Engineering Degree to join us at our expanding Engineering team in Northampton. We are LEV Engineering Specialist working across industry with main focuses on Aerospace, Motorsport, Defence, Nuclear and Renewables.
The successful Graduate Mechanical Engineer roles and responsibilities will involve developing conceptual and detailed designs to provide engineered solutions to client’s requirements, produce calculations and analysis to support design activities and present findings internally and externally to Clients.
The successful candidate will be working independently, and under instruction from your manager, and willhave a balance between working in an office environment and meeting with clients face to face, including conducting surveys of customer sites exposing you to a wide variety of UK industry.
This particular opportunity would suit a Graduate who is looking to start their career within Engineering department and is committed to individual growth and development.

Skills and Experience required
- Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other Equivalent Engineering Degree. (Aerospace, Mechanical Design etc.)
- A methodological approach to problems and ability to learn new analytical methods within a time-constrained project environment
- Able to clearly communicate technical data and findings to customers, experience working with international customers would be beneficial
- Excellent organisational and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Able to work in a digital environment TEAMS, MS Office etc.
- Experience with AutoCAD, and/or 3D CAD software
- Proactive nature, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving License
