What you will do -

The focus of this role is to provide quality support from within the quality department, to operations, planning and design teams on short-, medium- and long-term goals.

Quality Technician Duties

 

  • Provide support to assigned production areas to control in-process quality, identify and report non-conforming product, Promoting a culture of right first time,
  • Determine the root cause of defects and action preventative improvement actions with process / production managers,
  • Monitor & audit in-process quality control systems,
  • Review production standards against output,
  • Design review and assessment, and can read detailed drawings,
  • To support with the inter departmental monthly audit procedure,
  • Quality Assurance through stock checks and examination,
  • Assist in reviewing and implement corrective actions from audit non-conformances,
  • Assist with the calibration review and control,
  • Assist with the accreditation point of control,

 

Ideally you will have -

 

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings,
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Computer literate – with a working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience of, off-site building solutions,

Working hours are 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Friday. However, due to the nature of the business, flexibility will be required and at key times working outside of these hours.
