Jam Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking for a Quality inspector for our client based in Walsall (WS2).

This is an opportunity to be a key member of a busy production team and you will benefit from working in a safe and fast paced warehouse/production environment Quality inspecting products. The pay rate is between 21k-24k per annum depending on experience and the work is ongoing with the potential for permanent employment after trial.

Role of a Quality Inspector

*responsible for final audit verification i.e. ensuring parts which have been passed off are correct to specifications

*assist in root cause analysis for internal rejects including data input onto Orpheus system

*controlling monthly internal equipment calibration to UKAS standards

Technical duties

*daily monitoring of the audio dosing system in place 

*assist technical/production with effluent plant control

*update Orpheus system with technical parameters(parts per jig etc)

Key skills

*good people skills ,with the ability to work in team 

*computer literate with ability to use Microsoft office

*knowledge of quality system such as ISO9001/IATF16949

*Knowledge of metal finishing process would be beneficial
