About The Senior Electrical Engineer Role

You will be responsible for the design of low and medium voltage power systems, while ensuring optimum levels of detail and documentation necessary to developing bespoke automation systems.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Analyze and gather client needs
• Develop electrical concepts
• Conduct detailed design studies and calculations
• Define specs for purchased systems/components
• Coordinate with Hardware Design team
• Maintain Technical Construction File
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing
• Execute Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
• Ensure regulatory compliance and standards
• Achieve project milestones
• Drive continuous improvement
• Mentor junior engineers
• Fulfill additional tasks as needed

A successful Senior Electrical Engineer will need:

• Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Very good understanding of low and medium voltage power systems in power generation / power conversion applications
