Job Title: Energy Account Manager
Salary: £22,000 Full Time, Permanent
Location: Birkenhead, Merseyside (Office based, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and determined Energy Account Manager to join a highly successful and growing energy business. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a young and forward-thinking company within the Business Energy industry.
 
Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and use solid industry knowledge in dealings with new and existing clients
• Be able to handle clients with varying consumption levels, all the way up to mid-market level
• Have an authoritative and confident telephone manner
• Be able to hold a credible conversation around Energy procurement at all levels
• Work with suppliers, including negotiating best client packages
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
• Meet expected outbound call KPI’s
• Create, develop and manage their own B2B leads
• Build and maintain relationships with current clients
• Strive to add to own knowledge and industry expertise
• Be able to manage own proposals and tender processes from start to completion
• Show competency when reading or discussing market reports with clients or key partners
• Create strategies for business retentions

 
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B energy sales within the last 4 years
• Understanding of structured sale processes
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
